Friends & Family!

We have been having a wonderful weekend with our friends Pete, Jen, & Katie who came to visit from Kansas City, MO. Logan loves to watch Katie and her big girl ways (Katie is 2). :) We enjoyed hanging out at the Science Center where we played in the toddler area, and later we visited Uncle Mike & Aunt Sherry where we shared a delicious dinner and went swimming. The kids were sufficiently tired out from the water and went to sleep relatively soon after we returned home. It was great to share time with family and friends!

Friday morning, we went to the fire department to turn the car seat forward facing. It turns out that Logan will be a SUPERSTAR. :) When we arrived at the station, Logan was asked to be in a public service announcement for TV, as the film crew happened to be there at the time we arrived. Funny. Even funnier (or maybe it is sad) is that our carseat was doctored up to show the common mistakes of incorrect car seat installation. The truth is that our carseat was actually installed correctly (it was installed by the fire department previously!!), but the film crew needed footage of incorrectly installed car seats, so now I look like a deadbeat Mom. :( C'est la vie. We know our carseat was safe!! We can't wait to Logan's TV debut in the commercial! It airs during the month of July, starting July 1. :)

Thursday night we celebrated cousin Mark's birthday at our house. It was nice of Ron & Sue to traipse down to our house, and it was great to see everyone!! :) Logan *loves* his cousins. They always pay so much attention to him, plus they do lots of cool boy things!! ;)
