Pumpkin Carving!

Pumpkin Carving with Kids is a different animal than carving pumpkins without kids. It makes me laugh because we had so many elaborate potluck pumpkin carving parties in years past where we made elaborate carved pumpkin creations. Now, we are back to basics. Not because we can't create those super-duper, whamma-jamma carved pumpkins, but because to carve a "standard" pumpkin face with 3 triangles and a mouth (with a knife, mind you, not even a pumpkin saw) takes about 5 minutes. And in this family life, time is of essence. So, basic pumpkins we have, but they are still fun!! :D

I especially like Dominic's belligerent expression on the second photo above. He is just *so* cooperative!!! ;O ;D
