BundlePod and Tooth 7

Burrrr - its cold out there tonight. Its about 40F and we have a freeze warning for tomorrow morning. I went outside and covered my roses, petunias and snapdragons. It would be a shame for them to freeze!! Little Pod turned into a BUNDLEPOD tonight when we decided to go for a quick walk around the block to look at Christmas lights. Our neighborhood has a good showing of lights so it was lots of fun! Plus, it distracted Pod from his teething shrieks for a while! ;) Below is our Christmas light spread. :)

Today was a fun day. Lots of naps and travels. After morning nap, we went to the grocery store and picked up food for our household and for our family coming into town. We have one full refrigerator! :) Then it was time for midafternoon nap, as Pod was terribly cranky at the checkout line at the grocery store! :P After that nap, we were off to meet with Tawnya and Paula who was in town from MN. It was nice to hang out with our friends! It was home again then, and time for Pod's afternoon nap. It started quite late (3:40pm!) but lasted three hours anyway. During that time, Mama cooked a new recipe: chicken enchiladas. They actually turned out good and most importantly: Daddy liked them - hurrah! So, we have a new recipe to add into our per month rotation - YAY! :)

Daddy determined that today Pod officially cut his 7th tooth. It is on his top jaw, the tooth to the left of the front two teeth. It is finally through the gum. I tried baby orajel today, but I don't think it worked too much. I did want to try it to see if it would give little guy any relief, but no luck! :P

Pod has become a rollerpod extraordinaire. It is fun to watch him roll around the bed. He prefers the bed to the floor for rolling, maybe because it is softer. He would definitely roll right off the bed if we let him. The fun thing about the rolling is now when Logan is awake, instead of finding him on his back with his eyes open and looking at us, we now find him awake on his tummy with his head straight up (perpendicular to the surface upon which he is lying). Very fun! :) As if he is saying, "Hey! Here I am! I am awake!". ;)

Logan received some Christmas gifts in the mail from Grandma Pat. Unfortunately, Nimbus the Destroyer was out in full force to chew on all the bows. He is one persistent feline! :P :O Nothing deters this cat. :O
