Dancing Pod

For about a week now, Pod has been dancing to a musical toy that he can trigger different songs on by pressing a different button. Dancing constitutes bouncing up and down and smiling! :) He is one cute Pod! :D Thank you to Grandma for sending us this wonderful toy!! :)

Pod is continuing to expand his climbing expeditions. Logan can now climb up one of the shorter rubbermaid containers (we used to use them as barricades, but no longer!) as well as the coffee table. We need to secure some of our furniture, such as bookcases and dressers, to keep them upright as Pod attempts to scale them. :O Another new climbing conquest mastered today was scaling an overturned laundry basket.

Little Pod also continues his walking practice! :) I looked up from investigating the teething section of the Dr. Sears' Baby Book (a necessary pursuit given Logan's terrible teething troubles recently! :(...), and Logan was walking toward me from the coffee table - woo HOO! :) It is so fun to see! And Logan initiates using the Chomp and Clack by himself more and more! :) Hee hee! Logan attempted to use Daddy as a walker this evening, as well. Daddy has been Daddy N Clack... or maybe the Chomp N Daddy! >:D

Logan was a good sport today despite a long day. We started off the day signing up for a free kids club at the mall. It entitles the kids to a free carousel ride every week. Sadly, the carousel was closed for repairs today. Logan enjoyed the singing kids show, though. We met up with our friends Maureen, Nick, and Joey. After the show, Logan spent his first play time at the mall play area. It is tough because he is a little guy, but he enjoyed it. There are a number of bully kids out there, as well as good kids who just don't know to look out for little babies, as well. But, Mama kept an eagle eye out for the Kiddo, and he enjoyed himself. Afterwards, we escorted Chris to the doctor as it has been one week since her knee surgery. Apparently, Chris is recovering nicely, so that is fantastic! :) When Daddy arrived home from work, Mama went to join some other Moms at a pottery painting place. The gecko will be ready for pickup on Sunday!
