Spring!

Well, it is time for spring! ;) We did spring cleaning yesterday! Our house is newly vacuumed with a washed kitchen floor - hurrah! Its amazing how quickly the floor gets icky between all the cooking we do plus Logan launching food items off his high chair food launcher tray pad. Alas! It is clean for the moment! Also attesting to the coming of spring is the roses blooming. They are *SO* beautiful. And my roses are so neglected as not much feritilizing, deadheading, or pruning has occurred since Logan's arrival. Still, they are blooming fiercely!!! :)

Today, Logan and I hung out with Arlene and Julian! It was nice to catch up and visit with friends! :)

Here are some highlights of our amazing rose garden!! Above is our unbelievable cactus. I don't know what kind it is, but we really struck gold with it. We bought it at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum a number of years ago. It only blooms a few times a year at most, and the blooms only last one day, but it is worth it!!! :)
