Molar #2, Tooth #10

We believe it is official! As of yesterday, Pod has 10 teeth. His second molar (top right) has sprouted. He has been a bit miserable, but I am hoping that over the next week the misery will cease along with the drooling, biting, and drool stool (and resulting diaper rash :(...). We can only hope!!

Pod continues to enhance his walking skills. He can walk 8-10 steps at once now, though usually he walks 3-5 steps at a time. Logan can stand from sitting on the ground now, which is neat to see. He does prefer to take the easier route of pulling up on something and walking from it to something else. His balance is improving. When he is distracted by a toy, Logan can stand for long periods of time. It is fun to see him working on his balancing, when he rocks back and forth on his feet!

Something else new: yesterday, Logan climbed into a laundry basket by himself. Dove into it would be a more accurate term. It was very cute. I guess he wanted to help me fold clothes, hee hee! :D ;D Logan also put himself into a plastic box that we use to store his toys. I guess he can get into things as well as on top of things.

Its been a nice few days for us. On Saturday, we learned that Uncle Mike and Aunt Sherry are staying in PHX full time!!! Woo HOOO! We are so excited to have more family nearby! :) We learned this exciting information while having a wonderful dinner with Mike and Sherry. Logan went to play with his buddy Daniel down the street. Unfortunately, Logan is a stinker and decided that he was going to scream and fuss unless he stayed outside the entire time. This might not seem like a problem except that we returned from dinner at 9pm. :P Stinker! Earlier on Saturday, we enjoyed a wonderful picnic with our friends Lisa, Jeremy, & Zachary! We had fun at the park despite the weather being a bit toasty!! Above is Pod On the Go at the park. He is quite the perpetual motion machine!!

Sunday, we spent time cleaning up the house. We need to continue the de-pile-ification. Since Logan's ability to crawl, everything has been moved higher. We haven't yet found a place for everything, but we are doing our best!! :O The house was vacuumed and the floor washed, so the day was a success!

Today, we ran errands and enjoyed a nice dinner with Daddy. Time flies!
