Baby Toes!!

This past weekend, we finally made it out to Mountainview to visit with Shantha & Geoff. Originally, we were scheduled to go for Shantha's baby shower in July, but due to Dziadz's funeral, we were unable to do so. The nice thing about going now is that we got to meet baby Vivek in person!!! And he is ONE CUTE BOY!! That is for certain! :) AngBob were in town, too, so it was fun to hang out as a trio like back in our school days. :) We even got to hang out with Shantha's parents who have moved from Ohio to CA and now live very near by. In addition to socializing, we enjoyed having an awesome South Indian dinner - YUM!

Logan experienced his first of three severe falls on Sunday. The fall itself wasn't spectacular, but the resulting THUD upon head hitting the ground as well as the lasting effects were quite pronounced. Logan tripped on the step up to the Smith abode and faceplanted on the sidewalk. The result is two nasty looking scrapes, one on Logan's nose, the other on his forehead. :( Poor guy. To add insult to injury, Logan fell again on Monday midday while descending a curb to get into the car. Thunk! Another nasty sound as his head hit the side walk. Another slight scrape just to the right of the original one on his forehead. Worst yet was in full view of myself and Aunt Sherry at their home where he tripped on the tile and went crashing into the corner of the laundry room door jam. :( :( :( A nasty goose egg and bruise resulted on Logan's forehead from that as well as much screaming. Yikes!!! It is tough being a kid! Thankfully, there have been no new scrapes or falls.

Wounded Logan with Mama's old Startac phone! :D Too bad we don't have the charger, or Logan might enjoy it even more! Logan loves to "talk" on the phone. Logan's other new action includes jumping... or trying to, anyway! :D

Logan had his 18 month doctor's appointment and shots on Tuesday. His official weight is 24 lb and height is 32 inches. He is at the 25th percentile for weight, and between the 25th and 50th percentile for height.

Logan says, "Look! A cute baby!!!" :D

Matchbox cars are fun toys!! Girls like them, too! These are actually vintage; the original matchbox cars which Uncle Mike played with many years ago - fun! :D
