Logan weighed in at 16 lbs, 11.2 oz with his clothes and diaper on today. We estimated about 3-4 ounces for his onesie and diaper. Today's topic at Mom's group was preserving memories, as presented by Narry. It was nice to hear some new ideas besides the usual scrapbooking and photo albums. I liked the idea of doing footprint, handprint, and buns print (!!!) on ceramic plates at As You Wish or other "you paint it" ceramics studio. Another neat idea was to do a cast of a hand or foot, or to do a hand print or foot print in sculpy clay which you can redo as much as needed and bake to set. Fun fun fun! :)
Today was a busy day. This morning we took advantage of some Fall-esque temperatures and enjoyed a morning walk in the 65F chill, ha ha! I sacrificed my afternoon nap to bake some strawberry scones, yum! Sadly, the pad thai experiment didn't work out too well for dinner, but what can you do! ;O Logan enjoyed his afternoon naps, though, all cooking aside! :D
