Mover & Shaker

This is a picture of Pod sporting a cat hat that I found while putting the halloween decorations away. It just happens to be the right size, hee hee!

Currently, Little Pod in sleeping in his crib. He has this wonderful ability to travel around the crib. Anytime we go check on him, he is in a different part of the crib. :) Logo is a movin' & shakin' Pod!!! :D

Logan has pretty much mastered sitting up. Not completely, but getting close. He rarely topples over, and if so only to the back. He has begun to lunge forward to reach for toys just out of his reach. And his grabbing skills are getting better, too; he is more dexterous! Logan is getting better at standing with one of us as his spotter. He is a strong little boy! :D

We've had a busy few days since Halloween. At Mom's group, Logan weighed in at 18 lbs, 6.4 oz with his clothes on. While at home, we've been cleaning up halloween decorations around the house, and in general continuing to pick up after pumpkin carving. We headed out to the grocery store and have done some cooking. We've been on some fun walks to enjoy the beautiful weather. Each morning it is about 50F - woo HOO! It usually heats up to about 75F by midafternoon, though. The sun certainly sets earlier, at about 5:40pm. We try to get our walks in before then, or else we wait for Daddy and go at night.

This morning was MOPS. The speaker was talking about how to have a good relationship with your kids. The best way to act and instruct, how to treat your kids so that they might honor, respect, and listen to you. It was a good talk. Directly after, we headed out to Arlene's to visit with Arlene, Julian, and Ang. It was nice to catch up! :) Logan enjoyed seeing Julian and meeting Stephen who has been watched by Arlene for a bit.
